Volunteers needed for 5K cheer station PDF Print E-mail
We are looking for volunteers to support a cheer station for Ohio State during the Big Ten Hoops Day 5K on Sunday March 14th. This is a great way to motivate runners and show support for the Buckeyes and the Big Ten.

We will set up in front of Champps since that is OSU's host restaurant. The race starts at 11 a.m., so volunteers should arrive between 10:30 and 10:45am. Men's Big Ten Tournament Pep-Rally information PDF Print E-mail

Plans are now set for the men's Big Ten Tournament pep-rally.  It will take place Saturday, March 13 at 10:30 a.m. at Champps Downtown.  Of course, that's if Ohio State wins their quarterfinal match on Friday.  Our guest speakers will include: Jimmy Jackson, current Big Ten Network analyst, Ronnie Stokes, radio color analyst on 97.1 The Fan for OSU Men's Basketball and Miechelle Willis, Senior Associate Athletic Director.  The OSU pep-band, Brutus and cheerleaders.  We hope you can attend and support your Buckeyes in action while in Indianapolis.

Tickets are available for all men's sessions and can be purchased at Ticketmaster or the Conseco Fieldhouse Box Office.  Tickets start at $40 for Friday, and $45 for Saturday and Sunday's games.

 

 

 
Big Ten Tournament women's pep-rally PDF Print E-mail

Join your fellow Indy Buckeyes to support the Ohio State women's basketball team today from 2:30-4 p.m. at Champps downtown. Again this year, Champps is the home for Ohio State fans during both the men's and women's Big Ten Basketball Tournaments.

The rally will feature the Ohio State athletic pep band, Buckeye cheerleaders, Brutus Buckeye, as well as remarks from play-by-play announcer Marty Bannister and Miechelle Willis, Senior Associate Athletic Director.  We'll also hold a 50-50 raffle to support our local scholarship fund.   Hope to see you there!

Welcome the Buckeyes to Indianapolis PDF Print E-mail

Join your fellow Indy Buckeyes in welcoming the #1 seed Ohio State Buckeyes women's basketball team are scheduled to arrive Thursday afternoon at the Westin Downtown at 6 p.m.  The Buckeyes take to the court at 6 p.m. Friday night at Conseco Fieldhouse.  They will play the winner of the Illinois/Indiana game.

Tickets are just $14 for Friday night's session and are also good for the Wisconsin/Purdue game. Order tickets at Ticketmaster.

Griffin Discusses New Partnership with Ohio State PDF Print E-mail

In early February, the Alumni Association and the university came to an agreement that opens the door for a closer relationship between the two organizations.

The first question we heard from many alumni was: "You mean you weren't already a part of the university?" The answer to that question is: Officially? No. In our organizational mission? Yes. The Alumni Association has existed for more than 130 years to serve the university and its accomplished alumni. The only real distinction is that as a separate non-profit entity, the Association has been a largely self-supporting organization funded primarily by member dues.
